On this page we would like to take the time and introduce ourselves a little bit. We’re a young farm based in Bulgaria, set up by Bram and Eli in 2017.
We met each other on a farm in the UK where we both were working at the time. After years of experience in Belgium and UK, Bram wanted to make a change from growing strawberries. Eli built up experience in apple and pear orchards and enjoyed working outside. With both having built up experience on a farm slowly we started having the idea of starting our own farm. Eventually we set on a new adventure in Bulgaria with the idea of producing cherries. Growing lavender did not cross our mind yet.
When we finally moved to Bulgaria in 2017, we did plant a small area of cherry trees and later on also some asparagus. But we were still looking for another crop to grow and we stumbled upon lavender for its essential oil. We both were sold on the idea of having our own purple field and produce our own lavender oil. It did not take long afterwards to also include a gold field with Helichrysum italicum (Immortelle).
We constantly aim to produce a good quality product and grow them following the best practice keeping in mind the nature and environment. By following an integrated pest management, we keep chemicals and fertilizers to a minimum. This for all our crops, be it cherries, asparagus or lavender immortelle.
Whilst we sell the cherries and asparagus on the local market directly to the end user, we decided to take a similar approach with our essential oils and offer them to our customers without an intermediate or big corporation. We decided to take the same approach with our 100% pure lavender oil and offer it also to the end user without an intermediate. This way we can make sure our oil comes to you as we intended it, 100% Lavender oil. Our aim is to reach smaller artisan businesses who make a wide range of goods, from beard oil, to soaps, massage oils, candles and much more. To be able to do this we have set-up this web shop.
